Ultrasonic waves create cavitation in liquid. This action helps loosen soil from the surfaces of compatible removable items, including some of those intricate details that are awkward to reach by hand.
The principle behind the original SonoX acoustic-cavitation story, presented with a clear boundary: this is cleaning, not sterilisation or disinfection.

Check the item maker allows ultrasonic immersion. Remove unsuitable components and follow the SonoX and solution instructions.

Let ultrasound work.
Use the specified liquid level, dilution and cycle. Do not operate empty, immerse the unit itself or use flammable liquids.

Finish with care.
Follow the item’s rinsing and drying requirements. Empty and care for the insert as instructed; unplug before routine maintenance.
What can I put in my SonoX?
Only compatible, removable items whose maker approves ultrasonic immersion. Check the item’s material and care instructions first, and contact us if you are unsure.
Will it sterilise or disinfect items?
No. SonoX is for cleaning. No sterilisation, disinfection or pathogen-reduction outcome is claimed. Earlier testing was historical and on a predecessor product; it is not evidence of disinfection.
Does SonoX run on mains or battery?
Mini, Original, XL and XXL run from the mains. SonoX Pro runs on its standard rechargeable battery.
How long is a cleaning cycle?
One to three minutes. Always follow the item maker’s guidance and the instructions for your SonoX and solution.
Where is the manual?
Scan the QR code supplied with your SonoX to open the manual and instructions.
What about jewellery and watches?
Ask your jeweller or the watch maker first. Delicate stones, settings and finishes may be unsuitable, and many watches should not be immersed.
Can SonoX be used for fruit and vegetables?
Produce use remains exploratory and unvalidated. No SonoX pesticide-removal, bacteria-removal or food-safety benefit is claimed. Wash produce under plain running water. Do not treat ultrasonic cleaning or a formulation name as a food-safety step.
